Built in 1913, the Vanguard College campus is located just North of Downtown in the Westwood neighbourhood of Edmonton. The building was originally built as a public school and has served as the home of Vanguard College since 2004. If you haven’t been to Vanguard College’s current location you can contact us to book a tour, we would love to show you around!
HOME IS EDMONTON
Edmonton, Alberta, is a beautiful city situated along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. The city's river valley park system is the largest stretch of urban parkland in North America, with acres upon acres of parks and trails to enjoy.
Home to over 1 million people, Edmonton has a vibrant Christian community, and there's no end of opportunities to learn, serve, and grow in community. The vast network of churches and para-church organizations provides many unique ways to get involved and develop a heart for servant-leadership.
Being one of the largest cities in Canada, there are tons of fun things to do, and with multiple bus stops within 1-2 blocks of campus, it's easy to connect to Edmonton's public transportation network. If you're looking for somewhere to hang out, West Edmonton Mall is one of the largest malls in North America, boasting amusement parks, restaurants, shopping, and more! If you enjoy good food and coffee, the city has some amazing options (some of our favourite coffee shops are Rogue Wave and The Colombian). If you're a sports fan you can cheer on the Edmonton Oilers, Oil Kings, Elks, or one of the other professional sports teams in the city.
